Feline Strains

These probiotics are the only probiotics that have been scientifically proven to be viable in the cat's gut. Intensive research to show ability to suppress pathogenic bacteria such as salmonella, e-coli, clostridium. Our science also shows an uncanny ability to modulate the immune system.

It’s the best!

I have a Ragdoll cat, a breed known for their delicate tummies. It took a little bit of time to figure out. Felix’s Flora and a bit of pure pumpkin daily along with food with single-source protein has made us both very happy!

Excellent product

I initially purchased the Felix flora for my senior with IBD to rotate it with Visbiome Vet. I've come to the conclusion my kittens may have IBS or IBD so i started gibing them the Felix flora and its helped tremendously with any diarrhea/gas and vomiting.

Love this!

I’ve fed my kitties an excellent diet (primarily raw rotation) all their lives and I’ve seen how it’s just not enough. Adding this, along with other AB products, ensures observable differences such as better elimination and digestion. I saw a decline in health after not giving it for some months so got them back on it! My kitties are healthier with this. I do not give it every day, but in rotation. Hi Robin! I'd suggest to start with a sprinkle to see if your cat will take a smaller amount. If you can get him/her to start eating it, you can gradually increase.

Hello, I recently purchased your flora for my cat with IBD. I add it to my cat's food so both of our cat's are getting it. Initially our cat with IBD seemed to have an upset stomach and then our other cat got sick and vomited. Is this common or can this happen from them starting this new item? They are both ok now and seem to be an isolated incident, I just wanted to see if this could happen. Thank you Kim Adams

Hi Kim, When first using probiotics, some bodies can experience gas, bloating, or diarrhea. Changes in the gut microbiota can result in bacteria producing more gas than usual so it's not uncommon to experience some upset. I would suggest you stop the probiotics for a day or two then start back but at half the recommended amount by weight.

A question above regarding long or short term use of felix's flora was answered with "we recommend rotating through probiotics". Does that mean probiotics every other month or every few months only? Or are you recommending we use a different feline probiotic from the line each month?

Hi Tara, How often you rotate probiotics is completely up to you! We're big fans of diversity and rotation in as much as possible, including probiotics. Some people use a full jar then move to another, some a month of one then move along. I rotate pretty much daily with my gang unless I'm using a specific one for a specific need, like my senior pug started waking up with reflux issues in the middle of the night so he gets Gut Soothe before bed to help with that. I also spoke with a woman last year who said she rotated every 10 days which worked well for her and her pups! Hello, Because there are bacteria sourced from cat poo how can I know this is pathogen free? I see a beef ingredient on the label, my cat is on a single source protein bison diet, will this beef ingredient interfere with that?
